There’s nothing a very old man likes to be appreciated for —after everything else has gone— more than his wisdom and wit.

Today’s Front Pages – Newseum.org

I got a forward this morning that is perfect for us ink-stained old wretches and anyone who still loves newspapers. Go to http://www.newseum.org/todaysfrontpages/flash/ . Put your mouse anywhere on the world map where there’s a town of any size, click–and presto–you’ll see today’s front page of the newspaper from that city. This has to be a greater time-waster than online solitaire, checkers, or the silly penguin game.
Always proofread your cutlines

I don’t like pictures of dead bucks….
. . ..sweetie. But you should keep this as a reminder to always proofread your cutlines. Love, Papa
Happy Father’s Day, Papa!

Dear Papa,
This is the most modern way I have of reaching out to you and letting you know I love you. I feel like you haven’t left me, but when I realize you aren’t here anymore, I miss you and tears stream down my face like a waterfall. But instead of being sad on this Father’s Day (and from here on), I am determined to shine a light on happy memories I have of you.
Have a hap, hap, happy day.
Love Always,
~Kelly
